Principal’s Message
Dear Friends and Families of Los Ranchos,
Students enjoy having different options during lunch. These are all provided by you, our dedicated parents. We are re-starting Chess Club on Monday, October 9th and continuing with the Game Room. We would love to have more parents help out. We are looking for some parents to start up our Tinker Room, and how about Ping-Pong! We have the tables if you have the time. Please let Cherie know at cbruce@slcusd.org if you can help. Volunteering at lunch supports our whole school community.

Vision Screening
On October 12, 2017 students in grades TK, K, 2, 5 and special
day classes will have their vision checked by local volunteer optometrists. This valuable program is sponsored by the
local Lion’s Club and is a screening only. If you do not wish your child to
participate, please send a note addressed to the school nurse the day of the
screening. Parents will receive notification of results only if a potential vision
problem has been detected.
School Lunch Week
We are celebrating National School Lunch Week with a special lunch on Friday the 13th. If you would like to enjoy lunch with your student(s) on that day, please pre-order a lunch for $3.00 with the office by 9am on the 13th.
