Principal’s Message

Dear Friends and Families of Los Ranchos,

Field trips offer many rich learning opportunities that we cannot provide in the classroom. All of our students enjoy a variety of field trips each year. Usually they are connected to the grade level curriculum. But, they also include experiences in the Arts at the PAC. This week our fourth graders were able to visit the San Salvador in Morro Bay. The San Salvador is a replica of Cabrillo’s ship who sailed up the Pacific Coast in 1542. Fourth graders were taken back in time and learned details about life on a ship 500 years ago that they couldn’t learn in a textbook. Our students have these opportunities thanks to you and your financial support during our PTA fundraiser. Thank you!

Visitors on Campus
If you are on campus at any time of the day, even before school, we need you to stop in the office to sign in as a visitor and to get a visitor sticker.  As you know, one of our top priorities is safety.  If you sign in and have a badge, we can better identify adults on campus which helps us keep everyone safe.
